    지붕없는 예향藝鄕, 고흥으로 가는 길

이정표도 목적지도 희미한 시간을 질주하느라

가슴에서 내려놓았던 풍경들이 손을 내민다.

지붕없는 미술관, 고흥으로 가는 길목에서

조약돌 같은 기억들이 세포 속에서 꿈틀거리고

차창에 쏟아지는 햇살은 해묵은 갈증을 토하며

구멍뚫린 육신에 징검다리를 놓는다.

슬픈 운명처럼 녹슬은 대뇌 속에서

가냘픈 트럼펫소리로 흥얼대는 추억들...

이름 모를 들꽃들이 산과 들에 번지면

들녘의 무지개를 잡으려고 달음질했었고

억새꽃 출렁이는 해변의 파도소리는

달과 별을 유혹하며 잠들은 영혼을 일깨웠다.

꿈을 싣고 미래로 향하는 우주정거장과

그리움을 연출하는 다도해의 절경들...

찬란한 희망을 잉태한 작은 사슴섬, 소록도와

충무공의 얼이 살아 숨쉬는 역사의 땅.

지붕없는 예향, 고흥으로 가는 길목에서

자연이 엮어놓은 수채화 속에 도취하고

뿌리 깊은 하늘을 으스러지도록 포옹한다.

Rushing with the time marked by hazy milestones and destinations

The scenery unburdened from the heart thrusts out its hands.

At the turn of the road to Goheung, the roofless museum of art

The pebbles of memories wiggle in the cells

And the sunlight streaming through the window pane spews out aged thirst

As they place stepping stones on the bodies filled with holes.

Like a tragic fate, within rusty cerebrum,

The memories mumble in fragile sound of the trumpets

When the nameless wildflowers spread throughout the mountains and hills

We ran to catch the rainbow on the banks of the hill

The sound of waves, from the sea coast edged by pampas grass,

Would lure the moon and the stars, enlightened the sleeping souls.

The dream carrying space station leads to the future and

The breathtaking scenes of the Archipelago produces the longings…

The small Deer Island conceives splendor of hope, the Sorok Island

and the spirit of General Yi Soon Shin lives on the land of history.

The roofless region of the culture and the arts, on the turn of the road to Goheung

Intoxicated by the watercolor created by nature

Firmly embrace the deep rooted sky.
